The Tampa Bay Rays are looking for an experienced craftsman that is well rounded in several areas of trade: Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and general repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of maintenance related work.
- Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
- Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets/fixtures etc.
- Perform small painting projects, handrails, walkways and walls
- Knowledge of paint and materials
- Ability to repair/replace bolts in stadium seats, doors and door hinges
- Construct and frame out small walls/partitions
Qualifications and Skills
- 4-7 years of maintenance experience
- Ability to handle plumbing tools, carpentry saws and equipment
- Be able to trouble shoot problems with solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
- High standard of integrity and professionalism
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours/weekends/overtime
- Able to work in a collaborative/teamwork environment
- Knowledge of how to use aerial lifts/ forklifts/not afraid of heights a plus
