Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, the Spring Training home of the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals, is seeking part-time Facility Operations & Event Staff for the 2026 Florida State League season and youth baseball tournaments hosted throughout the year. These positions play an important role in maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for teams, coaches, families, and guests attending events at the complex.
Facility Operations & Event Staff work primarily in parking lots, entry checkpoints, and backfield areas during youth tournaments and special events.
Facility Operations & Event Staff Responsibilities:
- Monitor parking lot entrances and restrict access to credentialed vehicles, approved visitors, and authorized personnel only.
- Check parking passes, credentials, and access permissions at designated lot entrances.
- Maintain security presence at backfield complexes and tournament areas.
- Provide crowd control and assist with maintaining a safe environment for players, coaches, families, and guests.
- Monitor restricted access areas and report unauthorized activity or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with directing approved guests, tournament participants, and vendors to appropriate locations.
- Serve as a guest services resource by answering questions and providing directions throughout the complex.
- Enforce stadium and tournament policies in a professional and respectful manner.
- Communicate with supervisors and operations staff regarding incidents, emergencies, or operational concerns.
- Help maintain a professional, organized, and family-friendly atmosphere throughout the complex.
- Support additional operational needs as assigned by supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to remain professional and composed in fast-paced environments.
- Comfortable interacting with large crowds and enforcing policies respectfully.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and tournament-heavy schedules.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout the complex for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and sun exposure.
Desired:
- Previous experience in security, guest services, event operations, parking operations, or crowd management preferred.
- Live locally near Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium in Jupiter, Florida.
