Driveline Baseball is the premier data-driven baseball player development organization in the world. We train players through state-of-the-art motion capture assessments, physical therapy evaluations, and specialized assessment-retest based pitching, hitting and high performance coaching. We also provide software, hardware and physical good solutions for both in-person and remote training as well as deploy a variety of certifications and educational materials distilling proprietary internal research to the general industry.

We are seeking a strategic and creative Director of Sales. The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record in building a comprehensive sales strategy and managing/developing an internal sales organization.  This role will be the point person in selling training programs to athletes and professional and amateur sports organizations. 

A true builder, our ideal candidate must lead with conviction, bring a can-do entrepreneurial attitude, and a willingness to roll up their sleeves and drive execution. 

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Maximize organizational revenue by selling training to customers
  2. Lead the overall commercialization strategy for the  business; develop sales funnels, forecasts, and pipelines to align to organizational revenue goals.
  3. Build and manage a world-class sales team.
  4. Work closely with the CEO to develop and implement effective strategies for increasing revenue across professional and amateur training. 
 

Qualifications:

  1. Deep understanding of baseball, with a passion for the sport and knowledge of its history, players, and teams.
  2. Strong understanding of outside sales and sales metrics (VP level experience is a plus, but not required).
  3. Skilled in forecasting and reporting data, with experience in management and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) implementation.
  4. Highly strategic thinker, able to develop and execute innovative and effective marketing and revenue strategies.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage a team.

  1. A competitive salary ranging from $70,000 -90,000 base plus commission, depending on experience.

 Location: Seattle, WA (Remote considered, in-person strongly preferred)

 

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 + Commission & Benefits (DOE)

 

Reports to: CEO
