Job Title: Arizona Clubhouse Assistant
Reports To: Arizona Clubhouse Manager, Sr. Director of Player Development
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Job Type: Part-Time

Job Purpose: To assist with daily responsibilities of Arizona complex. Workload may include 
Processing and distribution of equipment for players and staff as well as interaction with personnel from a variety of cultures.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Direct Responsibilities: 
    • Provide direct assistance to the Arizona clubhouse staff in any way necessary. 
    • Ensure players and staff have all necessary equipment. 
  • Indirect Responsibilities: 
    • Ensure clubhouse remains in good, working condition. 
    • Assist Arizona clubhouse manager with inventory and ordering as needed. 

  • The responsibilities of the Cincinnati Reds Clubhouse Staff consist of, but are not limited to, the following: 
    • In-Season: 
      • Player or Reds staff requests. 
      • Cleaning and Organizing clubhouse/ Locker rooms and other areas. 
      • Field set-up and break down of equipment. 
      • Maintaining proper inventory of gear. 
      • Stocking supplies. 
      • Shipping and receiving packages/mail. 
      • Passing out clean laundry and picking up dirty laundry. 
      • Other duties as assigned, which require driving off-campus. 
      • Transportation to and from airports/hotels/etc. for Reds personnel. 
    • Offseason: 
      • Conducting inventory. 
      • Ordering items for the Clubhouse as needed. 
      • Cleaning. 
      • Preparation for Spring Training and the upcoming season. 
      • Transportation to and from airports/hotels/etc. for Reds personnel 
      • Assist in keeping the complex organized, orderly and clean 
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Independent judgment and ability to multitask is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work long, flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be trustworthy and comfortable with managing large quantities of money and sensitive information.
  • High level of interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with wide range of departments, seniority levels and personalities.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual in Spanish speaking but not required.

  • Performs duties as workload necessitates.
  • Demonstrate flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.
