About the Internship
As a member of our front office staff, you’ll work alongside full-time team members and take on meaningful responsibilities that directly impact the success of the season. In addition to office-based projects, interns gain hands-on experience by working home games and other events at WellSpan Park, applying what they’ve learned to real game day situations. This includes engaging with clients and fans, assisting in promotions, and helping deliver a safe, fun, and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our gates.
- Duration: Approximately March 1 – September 30
- Compensation: $1000 monthly stipend
- Eligibility: Must be a recent college graduate
- Housing: Not provided, but we will assist interns in finding housing and/or roommates if needed
Key Responsibilities
- Learn the ins and outs of contract processing, inventory management, and partnership fulfillment methods under the guidance of the Partnership Activation Coordinator.
- Break down corporate client contracts to ensure every promised element is flawlessly executed.
- Support client relations by coordinating artwork approvals, hospitality arrangements, and other deliverables. Collaborate with Account Executives to resolve issues quickly and produce a top-notch client experience.
- Partner with the Assistant General Manager and Partnership Activation Coordinator on signage, print materials, giveaways, and other promotional needs.
- Assist in creating professional Proof of Performance packets for clients, showcasing demographics, season highlights, sponsored events, photos, and examples of fulfilled sponsorships.
- Serve as event coordinator for sponsored giveaway nights and select sponsored theme nights, helping to bring these promotions to life.
- Assist with deliveries to corporate clients and groups, including tickets, artwork, gifts, and other materials.
- Contribute to team culture by collaborating with staff across all departments and pitching in where needed.
- Support general stadium operations to ensure WellSpan Park remains a premier fan destination.
- All team members of the York Revolution contribute to event operations, which includes some physical tasks as part of creating the best fan experience possible.
