About the Internship
As a member of intern team, you’ll work alongside full-time team members and take on meaningful responsibilities that directly impact the success of the season. In addition to facility-based projects, interns gain hands-on experience by working home games and other events at WellSpan Park, applying what they’ve learned to real game day situations. This includes engaging with fans, and helping deliver a safe, clean, and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our gates. Please note that this position requires regular manual labor as part of the responsibilities.

  • Duration: Approximately May 11 – August 23 (can vary based on college semester schedules)
  • Compensation: College credit
  • Housing: Not provided, but we will try to assist interns in finding housing and/or roommates if needed
  • Experience:  Facility maintenance experience is preferred but not required, as is basic mechanical knowledge. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Operations and Operations Intern in keeping everything running smoothly, from game days to special events.
  • Assist in maintaining a first-class venue by helping with power washing, painting, cleaning, furniture setup, and other maintenance projects.
  • Assist the game-day setup and management of the kids’ playground
  • Assist in execution and management of stadium operations staff
  • Assist with tarp deployment during inclement weather to keep the field game-ready.
  • Assist in the set up, and managing of various non-baseball events 
  • Assist general office operations and day-to-day stadium functions.
  • Assist in conducting routine repairs and upkeep to keep the stadium in top condition (experience in facility maintenance is a plus, but not required).
  • All team members of the York Revolution contribute to event operations, which includes some physical tasks as part of creating the best fan experience possible.
