Job Description: Event Staff for Charleston Dirty Birds 2025 Baseball Season
Position: Event Staff (Parking, Ticket Takers, Mini Golf Attendant, Bumper Cars Attendant, and other positions as needed)
Season Start Date: April 30, 2025
Overview: The Charleston Dirty Birds are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff members to join our team for the 2025 baseball season. As an Event Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an enjoyable and memorable experience for our fans and guests during our home games. You'll be a part of a dynamic team, working in various capacities to create a positive atmosphere for everyone attending our games.
Responsibilities:
· Parking:
o Greet and assist fans with as they arrive to the stadium
o Maintain inventory / sales using POS
o Direct Traffic as needed to ensure the lot is actively flowing
· Ticket Takers:
o Scan tickets and validate access to the stadium.
o Provide guidance on seat locations and answer basic ticket-related questions.
o Help ensure smooth entry and exit for all attendees.
· Mini Golf Attendant:
o Assist fans in the Mini Golf Area
o Maintain inventory / sales using POS
o Help ensure smooth entry and exit for all attendees.
· Mini Golf Attendant:
o Assist fans in the Bumper Cars Area
o Maintain inventory / sales using POS
o Help ensure smooth entry and exit for all attendees.
o Assist fans with their bumper car entry / exit.
o Ensure all guests are safe and cars are charged / operational.
Qualifications:
· Excellent customer service and communication skills.
· Friendly, approachable, and able to work well in a team environment.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Punctuality and reliability are essential.
· Prior experience in customer service or event-related roles is a plus but not required.
