Position Summary

Provides quick, friendly point-of-sale service in concessions and related outlets. Handles cash/card transactions accurately, serves select items, and supports overall stand cleanliness and efficiency.

Stand Lead / Chef

Key Responsibilities

·         Operate POS accurately; handle cash and card payments per policy; follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures.

·         Greet guests, take orders clearly, and repeat orders to confirm; upsell appropriately.

·         Serve packaged items and beverages; coordinate with runners and cooks to ensure speed of service.

·         Maintain a clean counter and service area; restock as needed; follow sanitation procedures.

·         Assist with line control and guest inquiries; escalate service issues to leads.

·         Alcohol Service (if applicable): Verify valid identification for every guest purchasing alcoholic beverages; refuse service to intoxicated or underage guests; follow ID-checking and service cutoff procedures; comply with all state and local regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements

·         Basic math and cash-handling skills; POS experience preferred.

·         Strong communication and customer service skills; positive, polite attitude required.

·         Must meet legal age requirements for any alcohol-related duties per state/local law (e.g., 18+ where applicable).

Physical Demands & Schedule

·         Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (4–6+ hours) and climb stairs as needed.

·         Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35–50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

·         Work in a fast-paced environment with variable noise, heat, and crowds.

·         Shifts include nights, weekends, holidays, and game days; additional hours during events as required.

Conduct & Policies

·         Being present, punctual, and productive while on shift is required.

·         Consuming food or beverages that have not been paid for is theft and will be treated as such.

·         A polite, accommodating attitude toward guests and teammates is expected at all times.

·         We reserve the right to check any bags brought on premises.

·         Cell phones may not be used during game time or active service. After one warning, the employee will be sent home.

·         Habitual tardiness or absenteeism will result in immediate termination.

·         Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and venue policies, including food safety, workplace safety, and responsible alcohol service.
