Ticket Seller – Light the Night
Position Summary: Event Staff members play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service during our Winter event at GoMart Ballpark -- "Light the Night." This position offers flexible hours, as needed, to accommodate the event's requirements. Primary responsibilities include providing outstanding customer service at the Box Office, assisting customers in making ticketing decisions, and executing sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Greet and assist event attendees with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
· Work in the Box Office to facilitate ticketing and admission processes, adjusting hours based on event demand.
· Enter Customer Information when selling tickets to our customers to gain marketing data
· Know the products you sell
· Dedicate time necessary to learn of pricing, daily events, and promotions to better service our customers.
· Process transactions in the ticketing system
· Accurate counting of change and cash handling
· Remain flexible to adapt to changing event schedules and requirements.
Expectations:
· Adhere to event-specific policies and procedures.
· Represent "Light the Night" and GoMart Ballpark in a professional manner.
· Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and a strong work ethic during the event's duration.
Qualification Requirements: To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Minimum age requirement of 16.
· Prior customer service experience is beneficial.
· The last line of “defense” for cash is our box office, cash handling experience is a plus.
· Possess a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a friendly demeanor when interacting with event attendees, colleagues, and volunteers.
This position requires flexible hours, allowing you to contribute to the success of the Holiday event at GoMart Ballpark while accommodating your availability as needed.
