The Staten Island FerryHawks are looking for an energetic, outgoing, and fearless performer to bring our mascot Frankie the FerryHawk to life! Frankie is the life of the party — the hype captain, the fan favorite, and most importantly the face of baseball on Staten Island!
Expectations:
- Bring high-energy entertainment to every home game and event
- Interact with fans of all ages (kids, families, and adults)
- Dance, pose for photos, hype up the crowd, and create unforgettable moments
- Participate in on-field skits, promotions, and in-between inning games
- Represent the FerryHawks brand with confidence, positivity, and personality
- Work closely with the Entertainment Team to keep the energy high all game long
What We’re Looking For:
- Extremely energetic, outgoing, and comfortable performing as a character.
- Great with kids and able to engage with large crowds.
- Able to improvise and stay in character.
- Able to work game days throughout the 2026 season, as well as special appearances.
- Able to adhere to brand and image guidelines while performing.
- Dance experience is preferred.
- Special Skills are preferred (i.e. cartwheel, juggling, flips, etc)
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to wear a full mascot costume for extended periods, and in outdoor summer conditions.
- Must be able to stand, walk, dance, and move around the ballpark including steps.
- Ideal height for this role is 5'11" - 6'2"
