We’re looking for confident, creative, high-energy personalities who love performing, connecting with fans, and bringing the BIGGEST PARTY IN BASEBALL to life! As a Hype Squad Member, you’ll be at the center of the fan experience—leading cheers, engaging the crowd, supporting in-game promotions, and helping create unforgettable moments at every home game.

Expectations: 
  • Engage fans throughout home games with high-energy crowd interaction, promotions, and in-game entertainment.
  • Assist in executing on-field promotions, contests, and fan engagement activities.
  • Work closely with the Entertainment Team, mascot performers, and emcee to ensure seamless game-day execution.
  • Help energize the crowd through cheers, dances, skits, giveaways, and interactive fan experiences.
  • Support pre-game, in-game, and post-game entertainment elements.
  • Represent the team brand in a professional, fun, and energetic manner at all times.
  • Assist with setup, breakdown, and general game-day operations as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Entertainment Department.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality with a passion for performing and entertaining.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage large crowds.
  • Comfortable being on-camera and in front of live audiences.
  • Ability to think quickly, adapt on the fly, and maintain high energy throughout games.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
  • Special Skills are preferred (i.e. cartwheel, juggling, flips, etc)
  • Availability on mostly Weekend Game Days with some weekdays (schedule available at FerryHawks.com).

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand, walk, dance, and move around the ballpark including steps. 
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Duration:
This position will run for the duration of the 2026 baseball season, beginning April 24th, 2026 and ending September 13th, 2026. Training will take place in mid-April.
