Our Promotions & Sponsorship team works to bring these experiences to life through creative promotions, fan engagement, and strategic partnerships. We’re seeking a Promotions & Sponsorship Intern to help us maximize fan fun and partner impact during the 2026 season.
Position Overview
The Promotional Sponsorship Sales Intern will work closely with the Director of Entertainment, Director of Communications, and General Manager to plan on-field and in-game promotions, assist with sponsor activations, and support partner fulfillment. This hands-on role is perfect for students looking to gain experience in sports marketing, corporate partnerships, and live event promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and researching potential corporate partners whose brands align with the FerryHawks’ fan base and community presence.
- Support the sales team in prospecting, contacting, and following up with potential sponsors via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Help develop and customize sponsorship proposals, pitch decks, and sales materials tailored to prospective partners.
- Work with the Director of Entertainment to create unique in-game promotions and activations that integrate partner branding and marketing goals.
- Assist in drafting promotional calendars that pair sponsor activations with theme nights, giveaways, and community events.
- Track and document sales outreach efforts, leads, and sponsorship agreements in the CRM system.
