The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, a proud member of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, are seeking an energetic, outgoing, and charismatic On-Field Host to serve as the voice and personality of our game-day experience at Regency Furniture Stadium.

This role is responsible for engaging fans, hosting on-field promotions, delivering sponsor messaging, and creating a fun, high-energy atmosphere throughout Blue Crabs home games and special events. The ideal candidate thrives in front of large crowds, is quick on their feet, and loves live entertainment in a fast-paced sports environment.

The On-Field Host is a key part of the Blue Crabs’ game-day entertainment team and serves as the primary host for in-game promotions, contests, ceremonies, and fan interactions.

• Serve as the primary on-field host during games and events

• Engage and interact with fans throughout the ballpark

• Lead on-field contests, promotions, and sponsor activations

• Introduce performers, guests, and ceremonial moments

• Collaborate with marketing and game-day operations staff

• Deliver sponsor messaging and branding

• Previous on-field Host or live event hosting experience preferred

• Comfortable speaking in front of large crowds (1,000+)

The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are seeking energetic, outgoing, and reliable individuals to join our Promotions Team. Promotions Team Members play a key role in creating an exciting and engaging game-day atmosphere by interacting with fans, executing in-game promotions, supporting mascot appearances, and representing the organization at community events.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy live entertainment, working with people, and being part of a fast-paced professional sports environment.

• Execute in-game promotions, contests, giveaways, and on-field activities

• Interact with fans in a positive, engaging, and professional manner

• Assist with contestant selection and promotion execution

• Support mascot appearances, including serving as a handler when assigned

• Maintain high energy throughout the ballpark

• Follow game scripts, timing cues, and direction from game-day leadership

• Assist with setup and breakdown of promotional materials

• Represent the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs at community appearances and events

• Assist with event setup, breakdown, and equipment handling

• Engage with fans and promote upcoming games, theme nights, and team programs

• Support marketing and ticketing initiatives, including raffles and giveaways

• Outgoing and energetic personality with strong communication skills

• Comfortable interacting with large crowds

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented

• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment

• Prior experience in promotions, entertainment, cheer, dance, hosting, or public speaking is a plus

• Reliable transportation required

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to perform light physical activity including walking, jogging, and energetic movement

• Ability to navigate stairs and uneven surfaces

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
