The Lancaster Stormes at Penn Medicine Park are looking for a Stadium Operations Intern for theS pring/Summer of 2026. Please note, this is an unpaid internship for the purpose of sports and entertainment industry experience. The Stadium Operations Intern position will report directly to the Director of Stadium Operations. This internship is designed to give interns a great experience within the sports and entertainment industry through live event experience and the preparation of those events. 

Responsibilities:
·         Report to the Stadium Operations Manager and Coordinator to coordinate game day operation as well as oversee                    outside events
·         Establish event staffing levels, which are necessary to achieve the highest level of customer service and appropriate                   level of security within approved budget parameters.
·         Ensure building operating and safety policies and procedures are maintained to provide a safe, secure, and clean                      environment for employees and guests.
·         Work with the cleaning department to consistently attain the cleanness benchmarks that have been established by                   comparable venues within the industry.
·         General upkeep of stadium on an as needed basis including hanging outfield billboards, repairs to the facility including            painting, minor plumbing repairs, grounds maintenance, etc.
·         Game day setup of the facility including turnstiles, kids park area, catered group areas, concourse tables, and all other            duties as assigned.
·         Assist in supervision of game day staff such as ushers, ticket takers, and parking staff.
·         Assist in facility maintenance and repair under the guidance of the Operations Coordinator.
·         Assist with other general office requirements as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
·         Effective leadership skills and team management experience.
·         Ability and experience to multi-task and delegate.
·         Proficiency with general Microsoft Office Applications.
·         Creative focus regarding problem solving.
·         Team-oriented with healthy and positive attitude.
·         Determining and coordinating logistical needs to support large public events in a large sports arena or event facility.
·         Sound organizational, coordinating, and personal interface skills.
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
·         Job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.
