As a Sponsorship Sales Intern you will assist in securing brand partnerships for the organization by researching potential sponsors, creating sales materials and proposals, and managing relationships with clients.
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
1. Identify and research potential corporate partners whose brands align with the Stormers fan base and community presence.
2. Support outbound sales efforts through cold calling, email outreach, and follow-up communication.
3. Help manage and update CRM database with contact information, notes, and activity.
4. Attend meetings and calls with perspective partners when appropriate.
5. Participate in brainstorming sessions for new sponsorship inventory and creative sales strategies.
6. Represent the organization professionally at networking and community events.
7. Provide general administrative support to the Director of Sponsorship Sales.
Ideal candidates would be working on their graduate degree or have previous internship experience.
