The High Point Rockers Baseball Team is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Ticket Operations Intern for the 2024 season. As a crucial member of our organization, the intern will be involved in various aspects of ticket operations. 

As a Ticket Operations Intern, your main responsibilities will include assisting with ticketing, providing excellent customer service to fans, carrying out day to day box office tasks, and gaining experience with the ProVenue ticket system. You will also gain experience and knowledge of inside sales through outbound calls, working relationships with season ticket holders, and sales strategizing. 
 
Ticket Operations Intern Duties: 
 
Day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 
·       Learn the fundamentals of ticket sales, service, and operations

·       Process ticket orders in the box office and at ticket windows

·       Increase knowledge in ProVenue ticketing system in order to assist fans

·       Assist in game day ticket operations procedures, such as reporting and window preparation 

·       Provide customer service to fans on game days

·       Sufficiently manage a cash drawer at ticket windows

·       Assist Director of Ticket Operations with other duties as assigned

 
Skills, Qualifications, Requirements: 
·       Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate-level program

·       Strong customer service skills

·       Available to work Weekends, Holidays and Evenings throughout the season

·       Demonstrated desire to work in the sports industry

·       Handle and prioritize multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to work well within a team environment

·       Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred

·       Correspond with potential customers via sales calls

·       Must have a fan-friendly attitude and a professional appearance at all times
