Account Representative - Corporate Sales
Position Summary
Position Summary
The Corporate Sales Account Representative is responsible for generating new business revenue through the sale of sponsorships, advertising, hospitality, and promotional opportunities. This position will work closely with local and regional businesses to develop customized marketing partnerships that help clients achieve their objectives while supporting the organization's growth.

The successful candidate will receive hands-on experience in business development, account management, and sponsorship activation while working in a fast-paced professional sports environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Prospect, identify, and secure new corporate partnership opportunities.
- Generate revenue through the sale of ballpark signage, digital advertising, promotional nights, and community programs.
- Conduct phone calls, emails, networking efforts, facility tours, and in-person sales meetings.
- Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals that align with client marketing goals.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently work toward individual and departmental revenue goals.
- Build relationships with business leaders throughout the community.
Account Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned corporate partners.
- Assist with the fulfillment and execution of sponsorship agreements.
- Maintain regular communication with partners to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
- Support sponsorship renewal efforts and long-term partner retention.
- Collaborate with internal departments to execute promotional activations and game-day sponsorship elements.
Community Engagement
- Represent the organization at community events, networking functions, chamber meetings, and other business gatherings.
- Develop relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
- Promote the organization's mission and commitment to community impact.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports within CRM systems.
- Assist with preparing contracts, proposals, presentations, and partnership recap reports.
- Track sponsorship inventory and assist with sales planning efforts.
- Participate in game-day responsibilities and partner hospitality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Previous sales, customer service, fundraising, internship, or business development experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and desire to succeed.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- This individual is required to work all home games (April- September)
