Under the Leadership of the Director of Food and Beverage, the Premium Services Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day aspects of all premium services food and beverage operations. Day-to-day aspects include assisting with training personnel, supervising, and directing the work activities of premium services staff all while providing exceptional customer service for our customers. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervises and coordinates premium services servers, bartenders, and suite attendants, in locations where applicable clubhouse serving attendants, picnic locations where applicable, delegating tasks, and providing follow-up.
  • Oversees and/or participates in all premium location setup including creation and maintaining opening and closing checklists, inventory lists, location product count sheets, cash and credit card handling and operational procedures, location par, and stocking checklists.
  • Directs premium services personnel to properly clean equipment and organize stock for the next event.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction at the very highest levels for every stadium event.
  • Train and coach employees constantly and consistently providing feedback both good and bad.
  • Must have a working knowledge of all positions in premium areas; including, servers, bartenders, and suite attendants, including how to set up/teardown, and service all premium equipment.
  • Ability to incorporate par/production/count sheets into the daily routine and effectively communicate proper stock levels based on expected game and event attendance.
  • Ensure the team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service.
  • Ensure product quality, location cleanliness, maintenance, and security standards are met.
  • Ensures that all workstations, service areas, suites, skyboxes, bars, and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked, keeping a quality appearance of the location at all times.
  • Able to resolve customer issues by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and selecting the best solution to solve the problem.
  • Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services.
  • Ensures all workers comply with company service standards and safety procedures.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed in locations where applicable.
  • Maintain quality and consistency of all food served.
  • Maintains premium inventory protocols and ensures inventories are conducted monthly or as directed by company standards.
  • Completes any additional requirements as directed by the Director of Food and Beverage
  • Responsible for assisting with hiring, training, development, and conflict resolution of seasonal operations staff.
  • Excellent communication skills dealing with conflict resolution and HR-related issues including prior experience in a Union environment is a plus.
  • Conducts detailed investigations as necessary to resolve any issues with either staff or guests as applicable and required in conjunction with other onsite managers and supervisors.
  • Maintains open lines of communication with the Director of Food and Beverage and the entire management team and addresses any issues or situations as they arise. 
 
Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Prior management and supervisory experience in a food & beverage operation is required.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. 
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • TIPS and ServSafe Certifications or state or local certifications if different where required.
  • Able to work multiple consecutive shifts including daytime, nights, weekends, and holidays as required without a day off during peak season as required by the unit including irregular hours.
  • Experience dealing with large teams of direct reports in a fast-paced food service environment.
 
Other Requirements:

Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to six (6) hours in length and have the ability to bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees. Must be able to go from warm to cold climates (workstation to coolers) and work in warmer conditions. Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
