Job Title: Bat Boy/Bat Girl
Reports To: Operations Manager
Location: Gastonia, NC
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Retrieve bats after use and return to dugouts (must always wear provided helmet).
- Willingness to wear approved Ghost Peppers uniform
- Retrieve foul balls and provide balls to umpires during game.
- Setup of dugout/bullpen supplies, water coolers and equipment as needed.
- General cleanup of dugouts and bullpen during and after game.
- Supply game balls to umpires so they can prepare balls for game play.
- Assist Clubhouse manager with requests.
Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required.
- 15+ and Older only
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions to include extreme heat, cold and rain.
- Ability to lift, pull, push and/or carry 50 pounds as necessary.
- Ability to physically walk, run or stand extended periods of time.
