Responsibilities
Key Project: Establishment of HTN - DugoutTV Streaming (“DugoutTV”)
- Create/execute DugoutTV social media marketing campaign to drive subscription sales and viewership
- Facilitate ALPB website DugoutTV hosting and subscription sales
- Mine baseball industry, social channels, historical archives to discover 3rd parties to provide content to DTV
- Launch social media marketing program with league communications, teams, HTN and content providers
- Document content provider acquisition development and follow up using available CRM tools
- Proactive touch base follow ups to content providers; actively work with each to promote subscriber sales
- Determine feasibility of sponsored programming activities (e.g., “Brought to you by…)
- Conduct research to determine suitability for DTV advertiser-to-league-sponsor presentations
- Create actionable opportunities through internal/external strategic research and outreach
- Research prevailing, comparable marketplace acquisition rates (i.e., FAST channels)
- Support Marketing Committee Chair and league president with administrative follow-up, record-keeping, data collection, and deal flow
- Attend planning and other required company conference calls and meetings
- Shadow league and club representatives during marketing meetings to learn processes and plans
Relationships
- Report to Marketing Committee Chair with dotted line responsibility to league president; actively collaborate with league office Communications, HTN, and Baseball Operations teams
- Consistent interaction with League Marketing Committee Chair, team representatives and with content providers regarding social media topics and opportunities
Authority:
- Recommend to Committee Chair and president changes which will expedite or correct hurdles with HTN
- Work with league Communications to actively promote league advertisers and content providers
- Implement changes with the approval of Committee Chair and president
- Not authorized to bind the company to any contract
Anticipated Results
- Increased DugoutTV subscriptions and programming
- Return all stakeholder inquiries within one business day
- Quantifiable outbound content provider solicitation/follow up messages each day
- Compose and execute sustainable action templates (e.g., marketing, 3rd party LOAs) for future use
- Achieve above-forecast revenues
- Completed and documented content provider-facing activities and records
