The Production Associate is a full-time role located onsite at Truist Park in Atlanta, GA. The selected candidate will join the organization for the remainder 2025 and then be part of the official 2026 Trainee class. The Trainee program is an 11-month program that will end in November 2026.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Production Trainee will report to the Senior Editor, BravesVision.  This Trainee will work with the BravesVision team, the production arm of the Atlanta Braves, to edit videos, conduct shoots, gather b-roll and contribute in all areas of our content creation process as well as live event production.  This highly creative person will bring ideas to the table and see them through the entire production process to completion. This position will also support non-baseball events in both Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Assist full-time production staff in daily operations of the Video Production Department
  • Perform production assistant duties for all areas of production
  • Hands on training in broadcast and sports entertainment production, including live and pre-produced environments

TRAINEE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate, Bachelor's or Master's, with a GPA of at least 3.0 at graduation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and relate well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and within all levels of the company
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Customer service oriented
  • Excellent executive presence
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Must complete a background check

ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • College graduate with courses taken related to broadcast and television production
  • Must have knowledge in digital design including video editing and audio production to be able to tell a story through high end content
    • Produces shoots and edits video content
    • Ability to develop compelling multimedia packages thru the use of broadcast equipment such as DSLR cameras and Adobe Creative Cloud products (Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects)
  • Experienced operating a variety of audio equipment, including boom mics, lavalier mics, etc.  
  • Ability to craft and write narrative video scripts and storyboard concepts for in-game videos
  • Must have a passion for sports and multimedia storytelling
  • A strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Possesses a creative, organized, responsible, and collaborative mindset, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment while communicating progress.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently
  • Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
  • Ability to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays; including all Braves home games
  • Ability to lift 35-50lbs of equipment on a daily basis to perform job.
  • Own transportation and be able to travel
  • Knowledge of the Atlanta Braves and team history is preferred
