Coordinator, ACE Marketing
The ACE Marketing Coordinator will report to the Director, ACE Marketing, and will primarily be responsible for supporting programming, strategic and experiential marketing in the areas of the arts, culture and entertainment.
As the ACE Marketing Coordinator for the Atlanta Braves, this person will manage the day-to-day outreach related to diverse fan development and growth segment marketing. The role will help provide insights from data analysis and observations within the marketplace to impact communications, partnerships, and external outreach to connect and grow diverse fan segments. This person will also assist in designing season-long activations that impact growth across various lines of business.
What is ACE Marketing?
The ACE Marketing Department is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and engaging a diverse fan base that leads to audience development. The ACE marketing department will be responsible for programming, strategic and experiential marketing in the areas of the arts, culture, and entertainment. Responsible for legacy celebration nights of the Braves organization such as HBCU Night, Los Bravos Night, AANHPI Night the department creates opportunities to impact communications, partnerships, and external outreach to connect and grow diverse fan segments.
Major responsibilities:
- Assists with the development of marketing initiatives and plans with a focus on African-American, Hispanic, Native American, Women, AANHPI, LGBTQ, among others
- Holds a strong emphasis on affinity programing – creating opportunities for a solid connection point with fans and the Atlanta Braves while introducing cultural activations to Braves fans.
- Supports Los Bravos brand strategy and execution, including the oversight of our Spanish website and the development and deployment of our monthly Los Bravos newsletter
- Identify emerging opportunities in the arts, culture and entertainment to help create innovative brand activations
- Serves as day-to-day contact with external and internal partners
- Manages activation calendars and special event calendars
- Researches latest trends within sports, pop culture, entertainment and diverse audiences
- Manages demographic and operations metrics for our core programs
- Coordinates cross functional meetings and brainstorms on key pillar programs with internal and external stakeholders
- Creates recap notes and reports from each program
- Analyze and report on key audience growth and development metrics
- Responsible for coordinating the invoices on projects
- Inputs all monthly reporting and other information for the ACE marketing department
- Assists with Multicultural Marketing and Business Development contracts
- Supports Supplier Diversity Program
- Provides day-to-day support for the Director of ACE Marketing
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a related field; with 1-3 years of experience
- MUST be proficient in Spanish (written and verbal)
- Experience demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with high profile clients and sensitive information
- Proactive thinking and interest in developing and executing new ideas to improve the efficiency of the overall brand and business strategy
- Organization skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- An understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures and an ability to work efficiently with individuals of all levels within the company
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Understand social and digital media
- Experience with community management and engagement
- Ability to use Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work long hours, weekends and holidays as necessary
- Must complete a successful background check
- Able to lift 45-50 pounds
