Who We Are

Job Purpose

The Arizona Diamondbacks are seeking motivated and driven college students to join our Inside Sales Summer Internship Program as Summer Sales Associates. This paid, part-time internship is designed to develop the next generation of sports sales professionals through hands-on experience, structured training, and mentorship. Summer Sales Associates will gain experience generating ticket revenue through the sale of full season, partial season, group outing and luxury suite packages; utilizing tools such as phone calls (inbound and outbound), email marketing, prospecting resources, and more to generate face-to-face appointments with consumers and businesses.

 

Hours: Part-time, up to 30 paid hours per week
Duration: June 9, 2026 – August 14,2026
Location: In-person – Phoenix, Arizona

 

Responsibilities

  • Sell full season packages, partial season packages, group outings and single-game luxury suite outings
  • Make 100 outbound touchpoints daily via phone calls, email marketing, and more
  • Set appointments and give tours at the ballpark with potential customers with the intent to close business
  • Work games, nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned (answering phones, managing sales tables, prospecting events)
  • Represent organization at offsite events promoting ticketing initiatives
  • Prospect and qualify business and group clients in the community alongside provided leads
  • Maintain diligent and concise records of all client interactions in client relationship manager (CRM) system
  • Assist in customer service initiatives such as member events, mailing products, etc.
  • Actively attend and participate in weekly sales trainings and role-play sessions
  • Support teammates and work together to achieve team success


Qualifications

  • Current college student with expected graduation between May’27 – May’28
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to manage a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as assigned
  • Desire to pursue a position in Inside Sales Program after graduation
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting to accomplish a shared goal
  • Openness to learning and ability to apply coaching and other feedback to daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Basic computer software knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Commitment to personal integrity
