Job Purpose
This position is part of the team responsible for all entertainment aspects of event planning and show production for Arizona Diamondbacks Home Games and Non-Baseball Events held at Chase Field. The primary focus will be to create life-long memories for all fans who enter Chase Field. Reporting to the Director, Game Presentation, this position will assist in planning, preparing, and executing all aspects of the Arizona Diamondbacks home games and events. The ideal candidate should have a visionary, imaginative, and forward-thinking mindset while being eager to learn. This position will be the secondary show-caller and will assist in creating and distributing show rundowns, assignment sheets, and scripts for all events.
 
Direct Reports
Event Staff include: Stage Managers, Rally-Backs, Activation Team, Mascots, Legend Racers, PA Announcer, In-Ballpark Hosts, DJs, Organist, Golden Glovers, Video and Matrix positions, etc.
 
Primary (Essential) Duties
·         Assist the Game Presentation Director to plan, prepare, and execute all aspects of D-backs home games and other outside team events.
·         Create a show rundown (ShoFlo), assignment sheets and timeline of activities for D-backs Home Games and assist on Non-Baseball Events at Chase Field.
·         Assist in the hiring and supervision of the part-time and game day staff including scheduling, payroll, staffing, developing plans for tryouts, uniforms, practice, appearances on game days and other events.
·         Coordinates all credential and parking pass requests for the D-backs GP department.
·         Work with Marketing, Corporate Partnerships, Ticket Sales, and Community Affairs departments to book game presentation assets for D-backs games and non-baseball events.
·         Assist all MLB events and initiatives activated at Chase Field.
·         Assist Theme Nights, Fireworks Shows and other Special Events.
·         Assist maintaining the D-backs Organizational Calendar, and scheduling all related elements (National Anthem, Ceremonial First Pitches, Recognitions, Parades, Performances, etc.)
·         Responsible for organizing and tracking all prizing inventory and ensuring prizing is locked up and stored in an organized manner.
·         Identify, innovate, and implement new ways to improve the Chase Field Fan Experience.
·         Work with outside vendors as needed.
·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum:
·         Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business, communications, broadcast, or another related field
·         2-3 years of experience in sports or live event operations, scripting (ShoFlo), entertainment, or promotions
·         Experience in Event Planning, Timing, and Show Calling
·         Experience supervising up to 50 game night staff (Hiring, Training, etc.).
·         Fundamental knowledge of live entertainment
·         Knowledge of latest Broadcast Technology

·         Knowledge of Baseball and D-backs History
