Scoreboard Production Internship
Description
The Arizona Diamondbacks are seeking a Scoreboard Production Intern for the 2026 season. This internship offers hands-on experience in live sports production, providing the opportunity to learn and contribute to the behind-the-scenes operations that bring game presentation to life.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Daktronics Display Studio operator during D-backs games and ADEE events
- Program and operate Daktronics Show Control and Ross XPression to create LED and scoreboard graphics
- Assist as a control room crew member, operating various hardware and software systems
- Support the loading of video and graphic content to playback devices
- Prepare statistics and game presentation systems for game days
- Learn and help manage the video replay system
- Assist the motion graphics department as needed
Competency
- Familiarity with a television studio or live production environment
- Prior experience in live event production preferred
- Experience with Daktronics Show Control or Ross XPression strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Understanding of common graphics and video file formats
- Strong computer literacy; basic programming skills a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot issues under pressure
- Knowledge of baseball preferred
- Professional demeanor; calm under pressure and able to work effectively in a team setting
- Flexible schedule — must be available for work nights, weekends, and holidays

Requirements
- Must be a junior, senior, within one-year post-graduation, or a postgraduate student pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university
- Must be available to work in person at Chase Field, Phoenix for the duration of the internship (Merch – October); this is not a remote position
- Availability to work up to 25 hours per week (not to exceed 30 hours per week)
