Job Title:  Sales Associate

Reports to:  Vice President / General Manager

Start Date:  January 2026

 

Overview:  The Sioux City Explorers are looking for a high energy, hard-working, success driven individual to be a key contributor to our Ticket Sales efforts in 2026 and beyond.   With a great ballpark and great community this is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to get into the sports industry and make an immediate impact with an up-and-coming organization

Position Summary:  Individual will actively prospect and sell season tickets, flex packs and all group/hospitality packages for the Sioux City Explorers

1.        The desire and work ethic to succeed in Ticket Sales for the Sioux City Explorers

 

2.        Sell new season tickets, mini plans and group ticket packages through cold-calls and face to face meetings

 

3.        Focused sales effort on selling directly to local businesses

 

4.        Prospect new customers and qualify leads  

 

5.        Fulfill and maintain an assigned standard in personal sales efforts.  

 

6.        Provide superior customer service to new and existing accounts. 

 

7.        Use creativity to develop new ways to boost the attendance of the team

 

8.        Completion of daily and weekly sales effort reports.  

 

9.        Represent the team in a professional manner throughout the community

 

 

 

1.        College degree (or equivalent work experience)

 

2.        1 years of sales experience in event sales or equivalent

 

3.        Strong work ethic and a desire to excel in sales.  

 

4.        Ability to work with aggressive sales goals and expectations in a fast-paced environment.  

 

5.        Ability to maintain a professional business image.
