The Lake Country DockHounds, proud members of the American Association of Professional Baseball, are seeking a Social Media Intern – Game-Day for the 2026 season at Wisconsin Brewing Company Park in Oconomowoc, WI.
This internship provides hands-on experience managing social media content and marketing initiatives during home games and community appearances. You’ll help capture and share the excitement of the DockHounds experience while learning how a professional sports franchise engages fans online.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the team’s social media accounts on game days and during community appearances (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X).
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to execute and promote events.
- Attend weekly marketing meetings to understand social media and marketing needs.
- Create and post content that aligns with current trends.
- Ensure all corporate sponsorship social media assets are accounted for and delivered.
- Assist with custom content development for social media channels.
- Help manage social media accounts and grow audience engagement.
- Interpret insights to improve engagement, reach, and overall social media performance.
- Work with the Graphic Design team to create materials for social media, email campaigns, and the website.
- Maintain a cohesive brand presence across all channels.
- Assist other departments as needed.
Internship Details
- Schedule: Mid-April–Mid-September 2026 (50 home games; includes office hours, events, and community appearances).
- Compensation: Up to $1,500 for the summer.
- Location: Wisconsin Brewing Company Park, Oconomowoc, WI.
- Focus: Gain hands-on experience in social media management, content creation, and marketing for a professional sports organization.
