The Visiting Clubhouse Manager will support the day-to-day equipment and clubhouse operations of Major League Baseball’s summer collegiate baseball league with a focus on player development, the Appalachian League. The League will feature 8 teams with approximately 32 players per roster in a 48-game summer season. The Appalachian League will put the athlete first, providing ample resources in access to data and technology, a competitive atmosphere, direct Club exposure, and elite-level coaching.

A seasonal Visiting Clubhouse Manager in the Appalachian League will support one of the 8 teams in providing clubhouse and equipment service for players and field staff. The Seasonal Visiting Clubhouse Manager will work closely with the coaching staff & Club Front Office staff.

Responsibilities:

·        Facilitate laundry for East Division visiting teams. Laundry will include uniforms, towels, and personal items. The Visiting Clubhouse Manager will bring the visiting team’s laundry to the Home Clubhouse Manager to be washed & dried after every home game.

·        Manage the cleanliness of visiting clubhouse space.

·        The Visiting Clubhouse manager will report directly to the Home Clubhouse Manager. 

·        The Visiting Clubhouse Manager will Kivac visiting clubhouse showers/restrooms after each home series. 

o   The Visiting Clubhouse manager will vacuum/mop & clean the visiting clubhouse after each game.

•      Ensure that the entire clubhouse presentation is always at a professional level. 

•      Ensure that the pre & post-game meal presentation is always at a professional level.

•      Work with catering partners to ensure smooth delivery and set up for post-game meals for visiting teams.

•      Assist with additional duties as assigned.
 

Qualifications:

•      All candidates should be hard-working, flexible, and comfortable working long hours/late nights/holidays/weekends.
•      Strong interpersonal skills to work alongside front office staff, players, and on-field personnel.

•      Experience working with a collegiate or professional team is preferred.
•      Must be able to take initiative, be motivated, flexible and resourceful.
•      Detail orientated with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
•      Base level computer software skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•      Able to lift 25 pounds.
