SUMMARY
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with digital signage, social media content, promotional campaigns, reporting administrative support, follow up and settlement for all performances. Also responsible for promoting goodwill in the community and enhancing the image of the facility through media releases and promotions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Maintain marketing calendars, task trackers, and promotional timelines.
2. Support show set-up and venue promotions including CEN requests, promotional submissions, lobby displays, in-theatre materials and Facebook Messenger responses and follow-up.
3. Provides on-site support for select high-profile or high attendance shows including artist/management needs, hospitality or green room set up, general event logistics assigned.
4. Support press release distribution and media outreach by maintaining accurate contact databases, researching new press and community contacts and helping organize lists for upcoming events and campaigns.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Update digital display platforms including outdoor marquee and in-theatre marketing displays, ensuring all signage is accurate, current and aligned with campaign timelines.
2. Create and schedule organic social media content, promotional reminder stories, slides and campaign touchpoints for venue and show promotions.
3. Support promotional campaigns including ticket giveaways, SMS discounts, community outreach and promotional graphics or marketing assets in Canva.
4. Update weekly marketing tracker with show performance, campaign statistics and related reporting details.
5. Maintain segmented press/media lists and organize shared project materials in OneNote or related platforms.
6. Submit approved invoices to the accounting manager after review and approval.
7. Assist with Weekly Marketing Meeting agendas, project coordination, campaign planning and proofreading outgoing communications for clarity, grammar and brand consistency.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. They must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong proof-reading ability and attention to detail. Experience with social media platforms, content scheduling and basic graphic design tools. Flexibility in scheduling to attend occasional events including on nights or weekends, as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. 1-2 years of marketing, promotions or event-related experience preferred.
2. Experience in photography, social media, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite and budget management or tracking is preferred.
3. Experience and proficiency in all of the above essential duties and responsibilities.
4. Ability to interpret and use demographic and marketing research information.
5. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and database programs.
6. Familiarity with digital signage platforms, social scheduling tools or ticketing systems is a plus.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
1. Applicant must possess current, valid driver’s license.

1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
2. Ability to write professional procedures, reports and correspondence.
3. Ability to deal effectively and courteously with lessees, user groups, their representatives and the general public.
4. Ability to speak and understand English.

1. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands of this position include the ability to climb, working standing and moving around. The applicant must also be able to work long hours on event days when doing a photography shoot.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment for this position changes a lot. Most of the time the work will be done at a desk but during photography shoots this work will vary in location from venue to venue.
