SUMMARY
This part-time role provides custodial services across the venue complex, including administrative offices, theatres, dressing rooms, the lobby, and the ticket office. The position also supports general cleaning and maintenance duties during event hours.

SALARY:  $17.00 Hourly - Non-Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
1.    Deliver excellent customer service to guests, vendors, participants, and staff.
2.    Work collaboratively with housekeeping teams and follow directions from lead staff for assigned tasks and events.
3.    Perform general custodial and maintenance duties in restrooms, offices, seating areas, lobbies, and exterior spaces.
4.    Clean and maintain back‑of‑house areas, garages, and workstations.
5.    Support daily facility operations, including trash removal, restocking supplies, and addressing spills.
6.    Conduct routine cleaning such as machine cleaning, washing, mopping, and spot cleaning.
7.    Maintain supply rooms and equipment in an orderly, proper manner.
8.    Complete tasks efficiently while meeting Fresno Convention & Entertainment Center quality standards.
9.    Keep Supervisor and Manager updated on work order status.
10.  Maintain a safe, clean, and secure work environment, report hazards promptly.
11.  Work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
12. Follow all health and safety rules and adhere to company procedures.

1.    Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with colleagues and guests.
2.    Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
3.    Ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels, including management.
4.    Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
5.    Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
6.    Maintain a professional appearance and strong work ethic.
7.    Ability to pass a background check.
8.    Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and similar equipment.
9.    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
10.  Ability to stand for extended periods.
11.  Ability to work in various weather conditions.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
·        High school graduate or equivalent
·        Minimum years of related work experience:  2 years

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
1.    Applicant must possess current, valid driver’s license and a current working telephone with a number that can be accessed by building management personnel for business contact purposes.

LANGUAGE SKILLS   (at a minimum)
1.    Ability to speak and understand English.
2.    Ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions, policies and procedures.
3.    Ability to maintain a calm, composed presence in an often fast-paced environment where multiple tasks, events and stimulus may occur simultaneously.
4.    Ability to deal effectively and courteously with employees, management and the public. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
