SUMMARY
Plan, coordinate, and execute sales activity functions. Establish and administer marketing policies and programs to foster and promote venue patronage.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
1. Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
2. Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
3. Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
4. Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
5. Partner with email, performance marketing, and web teams to design, test, and evolve lead-nurturing tactics
6. Help develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
7. Conceptualize and execute on multichannel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging in all channels
8. Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events, document business processes, and provide sales support
9. Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads
10. Identify effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, and optimize accordingly
11. Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s polices and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; employee recognition and coaching, addressing complaints and resolving concerns.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1. Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or any related field or Five (5) years of relevant work experience in a professional position with management responsibilities, or the equivalent of both.
2. Demonstrated advanced knowledge of sales practices including promotional and sales development and advertising; knowledge of organizational principles and project management.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
1. Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) and/or other similar professional designation preferred.

1. Ability to communicate effectively orally and electronically.
2. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
3. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
1. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
2. Ability to apply concepts of math on an Excel spreadsheet, calculator, ten key adding machine, or cash register such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentage.
3. Ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

1. Ability to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
2. Ability to manipulate necessary office equipment, computer software and peripherals.
3. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
4. Work is classified as light with the requirements of exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
