STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Marketing Director will support account-based marketing activities, set appointments, lead client relations for marketing, and support sponsorship and partnership development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and recreation and a proven ability to drive market growth through strategic initiatives and relationship building.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE INCLUDING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Market Development
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted marketing campaigns for key accounts.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide insights to optimize marketing strategies.
  • Assist in creating personalized marketing materials and proposals for potential clients.
  • Proactively reach out to prospective clients to set appointments and introduce our services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely follow-up and preparation for client meetings.
  • Maintain an organized calendar of appointments, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and prepared.
Client Relations for Marketing
  • Lead client relations efforts to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
  • Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored marketing solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Create strategic marketing plans and action-based timelines to serve and satisfy the needs of management clients
  • Provide leadership and guidance to field marketing staff and partnership to operations general managers and vice presidents
  • Collaborate & partner with Director of Venue Marketing on team development and delivery
Sponsorship and Partnership Development
  • Support the development and execution of sponsorship and partnership programs to drive revenue and enhance brand visibility.
  • Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities that align with company goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with sponsors and partners to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Director of Sponsorship on team development and delivery
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in market development, marketing, or a related role, preferably within the sports or recreation industry
  • Proven track record of successfully setting appointments and managing client relationships
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
WORK ENVIRONMENT: 
  • Intermittent office noise
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Travel may be required infrequently
