STATUS: FULL-TIME (EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for providing efficient food service procedures to be used in all food areas and to assist the Food & Beverage Manager in daily preparations for upcoming events.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Prepares menus and displays
  • Consistently checks inventory and makes necessary orders
  • Assists with catering orders: supply, food preparations, room setup, service, breakdown, etc. 
  • Stocks food court and all concession stands
  • Follows all appropriate local and state health department rules and regulations including safe food handling procedures
  • Maintains clean and functioning kitchens throughout the facility including proper food handling requirements and appropriate food storage temperatures
  • Supervises part-time team members to ensure safe and proper handling of food, products, and equipment
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Safe Serve Certification or similar certification
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • 2+ years of experience in the food service industry
  • Ability to work productively with a wide variety of ages
  • Flexible work schedule and regular attendance
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
  • Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
  • Will be required to stand for extended periods of time 
  • Facility has intermittent noise
