POSITION SUMMARY:
The Food & Beverage Coordinator is responsible for providing efficient food service procedures to be used in all food areas and to assist in the daily preparations for upcoming events.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepares team meals for players staying in team dorms for 2 mealtimes per day
- Prepares food for concessions stands when needed
- Stocks all concession stands
- Follows all appropriate local and state health department rules and regulations including safe food handling procedures
- Maintains clean and functioning kitchens throughout the facility including proper food handling requirements and appropriate food storage temperatures
- Supervises part-time team members to ensure safe and proper handling of food, products, and equipment
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Safe Serve Manager Certification
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Prior experience in the food service industry preferred
- Ability to work productively with a wide variety of ages
- Flexible work schedule and regular attendance
- Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must be detail oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
- Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age or older
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
- Will be required to stand for extended periods of time
- Facility has intermittent noise
