POSITION SUMMARY:
The Family Entertainment Center Director is expected to provide world-class customer service to all visitors and always displays a vast amount of knowledge of the facility's programs and offerings. The FEC Director will be responsible for the management of the FEC operations including but not limited to: Maintenance, Housekeeping, Retail, Event Management Administration and Reporting. Family Entertainment Center Manager will also work closely with other departments in hiring, training, management, and staff scheduling.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Managing Front Desk operations, customer service culture, and checklists
- Maintain confidentiality with guest and Team Member information
- Hire, train, and develop the Guest Services Team
- Develop policies and procedures that align with SFC ACES program
- Plan, schedule and facilitate FEC planning/strategic meetings
- Developing operational Key Performance Indicator Reports (KPI)
- Developing and maintaining staff schedules
- P&L management and reconciliation
- Be knowledgeable about prices, programming, and the daily schedule
- Retail sales and inventory control
- Oversees daily operations for the FEC
- Help maintain accurate records of participant waivers, event information and incident reports
- Primary contact for all events and executor of bookings/contracts for the FEC
- FEC development and sales in-house and co-partner with all Event Coordinators to help ensure accurate and consistent event relevant communication
- Serving as Manager-on-Duty ("MOD") during events and weekends
- Assist with Sports Programming as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of retail, sports or entertainment sales required
- Must have excellent initiative, interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
- Must be a team player
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays and long hours)
- Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of time
- Prior responsibility in daily P&L management and budget oversight
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
- Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
- Will be required to operate a computer
- Facility has intermittent noise
