POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations of the clubhouse at a golf facility. This includes managing guest services, food and beverage operations, events, cleanliness, member satisfaction, and team member supervision. The role ensures that the clubhouse delivers an exceptional experience for members and guests, upholding the facility's standards for hospitality, service, and professionalism.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Oversee all clubhouse operations including dining services, locker rooms, pro shop coordination, and front desk/member services
- Hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and lead clubhouse team members, including servers, bartenders, housekeeping, and event team members
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of the clubhouse interior and exterior areas
- Work closely with the food & beverage team to ensure high-quality dining experiences and efficient service
- Coordinate and support member and private events, banquets, tournaments, and special functions
- Manage clubhouse scheduling, reservations, and staffing to ensure smooth daily operations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain vendor relationships for clubhouse-related needs
- Handle member and guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Enforce facility policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations
- Support budgeting, cost control, and revenue goals as directed by senior management.
- Collaborate with the golf operations team to ensure seamless integration between golf and clubhouse experiences
- Complete special projects and daily assignments as directed by the General Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hospitality, resort, or club management experience, preferably in a golf environment
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, event planning, and member services
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office; familiarity with club management software is a plus
- Commitment to delivering top-tier service and creating a welcoming environment
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
