Event Security Coordinator / Manager – Event Operations

Position Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director, this position is responsible for administrative and operational leadership functions that support the daily operations of S.A.F.E. Management of Nevada, LLC at Allegiant Stadium and other contracted venues and events. The role requires a proactive leader who can manage event operations, staff scheduling, training initiatives, client relations, and incident documentation while ensuring S.A.F.E. standards are consistently met and exceeded.

This position may be filled at either the Coordinator or Manager level based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capabilities. Scope of responsibility and decision-making authority will be aligned with the level at which the candidate is hired.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to identify operational improvements, make day-to-day decisions independently, and escalate strategic issues to the Managing Director as appropriate. We are looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, develops people, and leads by example.

Operational Leadership
  • Oversee security staffing and event execution at one of the NFL's premier venues for professional sports, concerts, and major special events hosting thousands of guests.
  • Ensure all S.A.F.E. standards outlined in company handbooks, training materials, event notes, and the company mission statement are consistently upheld by yourself and all event staff.
  • Communicate accurate and timely information to teammates and clients.
  • Promote a professional image of S.A.F.E. Management at all times.
  • Foster an enjoyable, welcoming, and safe environment for staff, guests, and clients.

Scheduling & Staffing
  • Provide oversight of security-related aspects, including but not limited to 24/7 Facility Guard operations, Team Store, Stadium Tours, and Corporate Events.
  • Assist with reconciliation of all S.A.F.E. shifts, including daily and event staffing.
  • Track projected staffing levels against event requirements to ensure final invoices align with approved estimates.

Administration & Event Preparation
  • Prepare event communications, including teammate notes, briefings, and crew calls.
  • Prepare and process invoices for major events and corporate events following reconciliation.
  • Coordinate event equipment preparation, scheduling, oversight, and reconciliation.
  • Assist with event-day credentialing processes (ABI/NFL Accreditation).
  • Investigate stadium incidents, maintain accurate records, and upload documentation into the stadium's 24/7 management system.

Training & Development
  • Develop, review, and edit training content.
  • Present New Hire Baseline Training and Leadership Training sessions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for part-time leadership teammates.

Event Operations Support
  • Conduct event leadership briefings and establish expectations for each event.
  • Lead assigned event areas and work directly with frontline staff and leadership teammates.
  • Gather incident reports and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.

Client & Teammate Relations
  • Manage and develop Office and Event Coordinators (Manager level).
  • Provide mentorship and support to Office and Event Coordinators (Coordinator level).
  • Maintain clear communication with stadium partners and build positive working relationships.
  • Collaborate with the Managing Director and other managers to improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director.

Office Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to emails and voicemail messages.
  • Respond to internal and client communications in a timely and professional manner.
  • Answer general payroll-related questions.
  • Assist with general staff inquiries and administrative support.
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying event schedules based on the Allegiant Stadium event calendar.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of progressively responsible experience in security, event operations, venue management, hospitality, sports, entertainment, or a related field.
  • Experience leading teams in event operations, security, hospitality, sports, entertainment, or venue management preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), scheduling software, and the ability to quickly learn new operational systems.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic live-event environment.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to shifting business needs and priorities.
  • Demonstrated team-first mindset and collaborative approach.
