S.A.F.E. Management of Florida prides itself on its office culture and team mentality. Reporting to the Managing Director, the 24/7 Security and Event Coordinator’s responsibilities will include both administrative and operational functions to support S.A.F.E. Management of Florida across its various venues and responsibilities. 

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • 24/7 Security Management
    • Assist the Senior Security Manager in the oversight of physical security operations at all S.A.F.E. locations
    • Lead the scheduling process of each operation, ensuring appropriate coverage at all times, including managing time-off requests and call-offs
    • Assist with the recruitment, interview, and training process as needed, under the direction of the Managing Director or Senior Security Manager
    • Maintain current training program, including new officer training as well as continuing education modules for current Security Officers
    • Visit operations regularly (specific schedule varies) to monitor performance, address daily operations issues, communicate policy changes or company information, adjust staffing schedules as needed, and make inspections to ensure professional image (including the hygiene and uniform appropriateness of officers) and quality standards are being maintained; Inspections also include checking that SOP manual and all other post and training information is being properly maintained and updated, and that the operation is being properly maintained, cleaned and organized
    •  Complete bi-weekly invoicing for all Physical Security Operations
    •  Maintain Client relations and respond to client or site emergencies as they arise, including ensuring appropriate communication to the Managing Director

  • Event Management
    •   Assist in the execution of Major Events at EverBank Stadium
    •  Lead S.A.F.E. Management event staff at ‘mid-size’ events, including events at the Jacksonville Arena, Daily’s Place Amphitheater, and the University of Florida

  • Additional Office Requirements:
    • General office hours may vary and may be adjusted due to evening/weekend events, training, and interviews
    • Answer personal and office emails promptly 
    •  Be able to answer general payroll and other administrative questions
    • Assist in receiving and replying to general staff inquiries as needed
    •  Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong Computer skills, including experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • A detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while understanding the time-sensitivity of live events\
  • Flexibility to quickly and effectively respond to shifting business needs and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly
