JOB SUMMARY: The Manager of Business Development is responsible for driving revenue generation and supporting the day-to-day business operations of the Cleburne Railroaders. This role is highly focused on identifying, developing, and securing new corporate partnerships, executing business development strategies, and managing business-to-business sales, sponsorships, and group outing programs. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and a passion for sports and entertainment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Identify, research, and target prospective corporate sponsors, local businesses, and community organizations for partnership opportunities.

  • Develop and present customized proposals and partnership packages based on client goals and objectives.

  • Negotiate, close, and renew sponsorship and business-to-business sales agreements.

  • Execute strategies to maximize revenue from corporate outings, hospitality areas, and group ticket packages.

  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing partners.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to execute partner activations, signage, promotions, and in-game experiences.

  • Support back-of-house administrative functions including inventory management, vendor coordination, and event planning.

  • Help oversee execution of special events, group experiences, and corporate hospitality areas.

  • Contribute to ongoing business strategy development and departmental planning.

  • Al other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sports management, or related field

  • 1–3 years of experience in corporate partnership sales, sponsorships, or B2B sales, preferably in a sports or entertainment environment.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
