JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of ticket and corporate partnership sales for the Cleburne Railroaders, an MLB partner team in the American Association located in Cleburne, Texas. The goal of this individual will be to generate revenue by developing and implementing sales strategies and leading a sales team for the Cleburne Railroaders Baseball team. The position reports directly to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Primarily responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies and marketing plans to achieve revenue goals.

  • Conduct prospecting cold calls of local and regional companies to secure new business meetings.

  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including corporate partnership, season ticket sales, group sales, suite sales, and single-game sales.

  • Oversee the development and implementation of new corporate partnership and ticket sales opportunities.

  • Oversee inventory management and pricing strategies.

  • Set and monitor sales goals and key performance indicators for sales team.

  • Review local and national sales data and trends to identify areas of improvement.

  • Recruit, train and supervise sales team.

  • Work closely with the various departments to manage each client relationship, and to ensure that current partners receive superior service and complete fulfillment and execution of all contractual elements.

  • Represent the club with the utmost professionalism and integrity at all times.

  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Minimum five (5) years of sales experience with emphasis in professional sports team and/or arena/stadium ticket sales; sales management experience a plus.

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Word and CRM.

  • Familiarity with all aspects of ticket and corporate partnership sales and with expertise in meeting clients’ objectives through a proprietary association with a sports property.

  • Strong understanding of sales, marketing and integrated ticket sales programs.

  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Able to multi-task.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Possess excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to develop outstanding internal and external business relationships.
