REV Entertainment is seeking a diligent and experienced paralegal to support a fast-paced legal department managing the needs of all business units within the organization. This role is responsible for managing several legal systems and responses, providing transactional support, accomplishing various operational tasks, and completing special projects efficiently and accurately in cooperation of Associate General Counsel. Responsibilities will utilize strong communication, comprehension, computer, and interpersonal skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:

  • Build, streamline, and execute strategic processes and operational functions of the legal team.

  • Understand the needs and develop and execute solutions that scale alongside the organization.

  • Track and provide analysis of legal metrics (including litigation and budgets), create reports related to legal metrics, and provide recommendations for changes or improvements.

  • Complete various operational tasks and processes in coordination with the legal team, including, but not limited to, the following: standard contract review and drafting, contract research and review projects, entity management, status monitoring, and statutory filings, research involving corporate entities, preparation of various corporate documents, corporate minute-taking for various subsidiary organizations.

  • Provide transactional support, including drafting, proofreading, filing, reviewing, editing, and managing various documents including legal contracts and correspondence.

  • Organize and manage all legal documents, including corporate governance documents and various organizational contracts.

  • Assist with day-to-day legal administration needs, including researching, coordinating various meetings, and organizing company documents.

  • Evaluate and respond to all third-party subpoenas from courts, agencies, law enforcement and law firms.

  • Identify need for litigation holds and drafting, implementation and coordination for all litigation holds.

  • Oversee retaining of and relationship with statutory agent, and responsible for approving all entity-level invoices related to statutory agent fees.

  • Review, track, and monitor legislation that impacts the company, and update leadership with timely analysis and summaries of new legislation/regulations affecting the business.

  • Work with other key legal personnel to create efficient and effective processes for use across the legal department.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a law firm or corporate law department, or similar experience required.

  • Experience with Monday.com, NetDocs or similar legal document system, ContractWorks, and Box preferred

  • Ability to be discreet and handle confidential and highly sensitive information with the utmost care.

  • Demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships within and outside the organization while consistently adhering to high standards of ethical behavior, confidentiality, and professionalism.

  • Take initiative, operate with discretion and resourcefulness, and excel in executing on and supporting the processes, systems, and platforms utilized by REV Entertainment and the legal department.

  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills, and use a proactive, detail-oriented approach in meeting deadlines.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and go above and beyond to solve challenges.

  • Demonstrate ability to be organized and adaptable, functioning well in a fast-paced and growing environment.

  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

  • Ability to act independently and make independent decisions regarding important legal and compliance matters.

  • Must demonstrate meticulous and accurate attention to detail.

  • Ability to successfully and efficiently manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a timely and accurate manner.
