JOB SUMMARY:  REV Entertainment, the official sports and entertainment company of the Texas Rangers is hiring an Accountant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accounting and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Responsible for general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations

• Analyze and prepare monthly financial reporting specific to the areas of responsibility.

• Develop and help administer the annual budget, as well as periodic operating forecasts

• Conduct financial and profitability analysis

• Responsible for journal entry preparation

• Month-end closing responsibilities

• Assisting with financial audits

• Responsible for credit card reconciliation

• Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as required by senior management

• Other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. Degree in Accounting

• Minimum of 3+ years of Accounting experience

• Advanced knowledge of Excel

• Experience with financial systems software required

• Ability to always maintain a high level of confidentiality both in and out of the workplace

• Display a high level of proficiency and professionalism

• Handle multiple priorities, duties and responsibilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
