ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Travel to service areas to represent the company and achieve the assigned goals.

  • Performs outside sales/customer request responsibilities by in-person visits, telephone, mail and e-mail.

  • Meet and exceed required outbound sales activity, including making 70+ calls daily, to sell Season Ticket Memberships, partial season plans, group tickets, premium seating, and other ticket products and experiences.

  • Build relationships with prospective clients while providing excellent service to current ticket holders and accounts.

  • Connect with prospective and current buyers through face-to-face meetings, virtual appointments, phone calls, emails, text messages, LinkedIn, seat visits, arena tours, and other sales opportunities.

  • Meet and exceed individual sales goals established by management.

  • Educate prospective buyers and fans about the New Mexico Goatheads, available ticket options, and the experience of attending Goatheads hockey at the Rio Rancho Events Center.

  • Consistently prospect for new business opportunities and develop lead lists through research, networking, referrals, and community outreach.

  • Develop a strong understanding of Goatheads ticket products, pricing, seating locations, membership benefits, promotions, and other available experiences.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activity, communication, and account information within the organization’s CRM and ticketing systems.

  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and assist current ticket holders with questions and account needs.

  • Attend and work all New Mexico Goatheads home games, as well as select team events, networking opportunities, and community events.

  • Represent the New Mexico Goatheads and the organization in a professional and positive manner.

  • All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College degree preferred.

  • Previous sales experience is preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Comfortable making 70+ outbound phone calls daily and consistently prospecting for new business.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Comfortable communicating and building relationships with customers over the phone and in person.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs required.

  • Previous customer service experience preferred but not required.

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, home games, and team events.
