The Long Island Ducks Professional Baseball Club is looking for a passionate, creative, and skilled professional to lead the Ducks' digital content and social media presence. 

This position's primary responsibility is the creation of engaging digital content through video production, video editing, graphic design, and photography while managing the organization's social media platforms. The ideal candidate is an exceptional visual storyteller who can capture the excitement of professional baseball and create content that entertains, informs, and grows our fan base.

Responsibilities

  • Produce, edit, and publish high-quality videos for game days, promotions, player features, community events, sponsorship activations, and marketing campaigns.
  • Design creative graphics for social media, digital advertising, email marketing, ballpark videoboards, website content, and promotional materials.
  • Capture photography and video content before, during, and after games and special events.
  • Develop innovative and engaging multimedia content across all social media platforms.
  • Execute the Ducks' social media strategy through competitive research, audience identification, messaging, and platform optimization.
  • Create and maintain editorial and content calendars.
  • Manage and publish daily content across X, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other emerging platforms.
  • Continuously improve social media performance by analyzing engagement metrics, audience insights, and industry best practices.
  • Report directly to the General Manager and collaborate with the Communications Department to ensure a consistent and engaging brand identity.
  • Develop creative digital campaigns in collaboration with the General Manager.
  • Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and competitor activity.
  • Deliver monthly analytics reports with recommendations for continued growth.
  • Assist with creating and implementation of sponsorship content.
  • Assist with additional marketing and promotional initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise managing social media platforms including X, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Meta Business Suite.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrates professional video editing, graphic design, and digital storytelling.
  • Excellent photography, videography, and post-production editing skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with exceptional proofreading and grammar.
  • Experience using Google Analytics and native social media analytics tools.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of professional experience in digital media, communications, marketing, sports media, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas that enhance the Long Island Ducks brand.
  • Understanding of the Ducks' identity and commitment to providing outstanding affordable family entertainment.
  • Ability and willingness to work long hours as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the baseball season.

Compensation

·       Anticipated salary range for this position is $40,000 to $50,000 annually, depending on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated skills.  This position is eligible for overtime and commissions.  The Long Island Ducks & REV Entertainment also offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, sick leave, and a 401(k) plan with company contribution for eligible employees.
