ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING: 

  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals.

  • Actively sell and maintain a healthy book of ticket sales business.

  • Generating revenue for the Ducks organization via season ticket sales, mini plan sales and individual game ticket sales in the local and regional market.  

  • Proactively developing NEW business via phone calls, referrals, and face to face meetings.

  • Representing the Ducks at outside community, and charitable functions.

  • Generating leads within our CRM,  as well as online and in person prospecting (networking events).

  • Effectively following up with clients to help provide repeat business and to meet excellent customer service requirements.

  • Participating in sales and staff meetings as scheduled.

  • Perform assigned duties at all home games as well other events held at the ballpark.

  • All other duties as assigned.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Undergraduate degree in business/sales/marketing/sports management or similar concentration.

  • Minimum one (1) year of sales experience.

  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external clients at all levels of an organization.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.

  • Extremely coachable and eager to learn every day.

  • Experience with CRM systems.

  • Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to build a career in the sports business.

  • Must be able to work evenings, holidays and weekends, as required.

  • Must complete a successful background check.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE: 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: communicate with others; move about the facility; stand or remain in a stationary position for extended periods (up to 8+ hours); traverse uneven, slippery, or hard surfaces; transport, position, or move up to 25 pounds; position themselves to access file cabinets or office machinery; and operate computers. This position may require work inside or outside of a building, in all types of weather conditions, as needed by events.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This full time position is paid hourly ($17 - $18 per hour) with overtime/commission commensurate with experience.
