The Cleburne Railroaders, an MLB Partner Baseball team in the American Association, are looking for a Business Operations Manager. The Business Operations Manager will oversee all Ticketing and Box Office Operations. In addition, they will be responsible for overseeing the gameday parking staff and parking operations, and all financial reporting associated with the ticketing and parking operations.  The position will also help coordinate player and coaches housing, working closely with the Host Families and local corporate partners.  They will also assist the Operations Manager with team travel logistics and support the Sales Team in the fulfillment of tickets and on-site hospitality events that are part of sponsorship agreements.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

  • Ability to manage all aspects of ticketing and CRM in our ticketing software system and be able to teach others how to use the ticket selling functions and CRM functions.

  • Will plan, create and execute sales campaigns, will train staff on these sales campaigns and motivate staff to excel.

  • Will assist in overseeing the training and improvement of ticket office staff.

  • Will manage all event ticket financial reconciliations for the company and report on a timely basis.

  • Will ensure that we are maximizing the sales tools and database of our ticket sales software vendor.

  • Ability to mine data and develop a continuous stream of targets to sell tickets to and to assign to Account Managers.

  • Ability to thoroughly plan, create and execute, on-time, ticket sales plans.

  • Ability to sell season tickets to fans and to corporate customers.

  • Oversee and assist with gameday responsibilities as assigned. These could include but not be limited to supervising gameday sellers, selling tickets, managing will call, assisting with group outings etc.

  • Create, attend and execute ticket selling events at sponsor locations and other viable targeted events.

  • Keep account records updated in the ticketing system to reflect customer service interaction and touch points.

  • Hire, train and oversee all aspects of the gameday parking attendants, including gameday reporting

  • Assist in coordinating housing for coaches and players working with the participants of the Host Family program and the corporate partners with the team.

  • Assist the Operations Manager on logistics for team travel including scheduling ground and flight transportation and hotel accommodation

  • Work with members teams in the American Association and our local hotel partners on hotel accommodations for all teams visiting Cleburne.

  • Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a leadership/supervisory position in a sales-driven environment.

  • Knowledge of TIXR platform is preferred

  • Industry experience is strongly preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
