Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Events & Budgeting Analyst with strong analytical and Excel skills to
support the VP of Finance and VP of FP&A in the various aspects of Budgeting and Event Financial
planning. The Events and Budgeting Analyst shall be responsible for overseeing various elements
appertaining to the financial process of creating and executing events, managing budgets, and
presenting data. An ideal candidate has strong interpersonal communication skills, experience in
finance or accounting, and a passionate mindset towards gaining experience in the sports and
entertainment industry. 

While you are here, you will be:

  • Creating and maintaining Event P&L’s, Budgets, and Outlooks in coordination with the Booking Department
  • Creating Event Settlements 
  • Settle Events as required
  • Creating and posting Event Entries
  • Provide Final Event P&L analysis
  • Creating budget templates for input
  • Creating budget / forecast templates for purposes to upload into data into Accounting and Reporting systems.
  • Attending Budget preparation meetings to gather data 
  • Helping with preparing Financial Reporting Package for month-end Close
  • Working on Financial Budget Package and doing reconciliations between files / systems
  • Assisting with the gathering of Capital budget data, creating budget input templates fit here? 
  • Prepare and distribute Flash Reports for Events, Food and Beverage and Parking
  • Performing Ad Hoc requests

What you need to be qualified:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience of relevant work
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of NetSuite Accounting System, and Adaptive Reporting System a plus
