Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator will provide administrative support to Vanderbilt University Athletics Management. Administrative duties may include shipping, receiving and inventory compliance as well as general clerical duties.
The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work on a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, interpersonal skills, self-direction, and independent decision-making skills are required.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00-$30.00

Responsibilities
- Work from general instructions and specifications.
- Responsible for product purchasing/ordering, receiving and distribution control for Santander Arena.
- Maintain and manage sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
- Willing and available to assist with event operations as directed by the General Manager.
- Maintain warehouse inventory and always ensure system controls of warehouse inventory.
- Responsible for ensuring that purchase order system is adhered to for all orders received at each warehouse; verify proper specification, size, quantity, etc. of goods received; supervise proper labeling, dating and stocking of supplies.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets for all products and are properly organized and available to all personnel.
- Oversee and ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each event; rotate and maintain integrity of product.
- Conduct walks through the warehouse, shops and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.
- Performs the administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, transferring, storing, sorting and distributing of product.
- Handles all incoming calls.
- Inputs inbound & outbound product into the POS.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management.
- Demonstrated skill in managing multiple functions and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and a commitment to team results are required.
- Work from general instructions and specifications, with minimal supervision.
- Communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of all existing facility locations: geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.
