Overview
The Warehouse Worker (Runner) is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and independent decision-making skills are required. Must be able to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Warehouse Associates report to Warehouse Supervisors and Warehouse/Purchasing Manager.
This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00 to $19.00

Responsibilities
Morning Crew (REQs/Receiving)
- Works between 7AM - 4PM (shifts available seven days per week!)
- Receives deliveries, checking for accuracy and quality before rotating with on-hand stock in our warehouse/store rooms
- Fulfills requisition sheets to accurately restock bars, concession stands, or kitchens for upcoming events
- Stages product for upcoming events
- Receiving product deliveries
- Proper food rotation
- Processing spoilage
- Distribution of product
- Equipment maintenance
- Overseeing proper product transfers
Afternoon/Evening Crew (Events)
- Fluctuating, event-based schedule
- Product fulfillment during events
- Services draft beer lines to exchange kegs or CO2 tanks when necessary
- Restocking Grab & Go locations at End of Day
- Post-Event Breakdown
- Must be able to move a keg of beer using hand truck!
- Running product throuhgout an event
- Warehouse closing duties (sweep, mop, trash & recycling processed)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of all existing concessions locations: geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.
- Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc. pertaining to venue concession operations.
Physical Dimensions:
- Performing the duties of this position involves extensive and continuous standing and walking (we call it RUNNER for a reason!).
- Routine activities require the employee to be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
- The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds (sometimes more - Team Lift always encouraged when needed!).
Working Conditions & Hazards
- Exposed to weather and non-weather related cold temperatures;
- In areas with low levels of CO exposure;
- Wet and slippery floors;
- Extreme hot surfaces;
- Pinch points and tight working spaces throughout building;
- Exposed to high noise levels.
- Moving heavy objects (some in excess of 100lbs), using warehouse equipment (hand trucks, dollies, carts, etc)
- Heavy-Duty equipment constantly in use on site - must remain attentive at all times! (Heavy Duty Equipment includes electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, fork lifts, and more)
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year foodservice, hospitality or warehousing experience.
- Similar venue experience is a plus.
- Physical ability to execute warehouse duties.
- Food Service Certification (ServSafe)
