Overview

Video Content Creator position is responsible for overseeing the planning, production, and editing of video related projects for numerous departments within the facility. They will work closely with other team members to develop creative concepts that drive results.  

 

This role will pays a wage of $28.84 to $31.25.

Responsibilities

  • Create video content as well as graphic elements for all Moody Center departments (ie- marketing, premium sales, sponsorships, food & beverage, programming, HR, etc.) 
  • Manage and execute content: post-production, editing, compositing, motion graphics, and special effects 
  • Participate in developing creative strategy, brainstorming, and storyboarding for video projects 
  • Ability to research new ways to amplify venue social media and identify the latest trends and technologies affecting the industry. 
  • Oversee planning and necessary communications to prepare for gathering footage 
  • Conduct both on-site and off-site video shoots 
  • Quality control of projects from concept to completion 
  • Identify new techniques and what it takes to remain on the leading edge in technology and software in live entertainment content 
  • Organize and maintain video files, including following best practices for version control, naming conventions, and organization of graphic files and photos 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to improve social results  
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Marketing and Marketing Team on ideas and concepts for content 
  • Live Event editing during concerts building highlights, recaps, and short music videos using real time footage 
  • Serve as on-site marketing department representative for designated events (e.g. duties may include media escorting, sponsor and/or promotional partner implementation, media partner implementation, etc.). 
  • Assist with other duties as it relates to the marketing department & the requests by leadership team. 

Qualifications

  • Preferred 2+ years of video production experience utilizing post production techniques 
  • Highly proficient in video production and video-related equipment 
  • Proficient in motion animations and incorporating graphics and text into video edits 
  • Proven video editing, motion graphics and animated content creation experience using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator 
  • Ability to animate design assets  
  • Experienced DSLR shooter  
  • Knowledge of live entertainment and the ideation process of creating content for live events (concerts) 
  • Knowledge of video compression, transcoding, and encoding. Specifically strong familiarity with various video codecs used in digital workflow 
  • Detail-oriented and capable of producing a highly polished final product 
  • Familiar with producing for social media channels and other video-based digital platforms 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effortlessly collaborate with others, both internally and externally 
  • Capable of receiving creative direction and handling criticism related to work 
  • Capable of managing projects from start to finish, overseeing project timelines and deadlines, and handling client communications related to video projects. 

 

 

Working Conditions: 

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required. 
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building.
